Michael P. Krone‚ Esq.‚ Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Attorney Krone has been involved in the practice of real estate law for over 30 years. He has managed several real estate businesses and law firms and has vast experience in the title insurance industry. Attorney Krone has served as Vice President of First American Title Insurance Company and was founder and CEO of ClosingCounsel.com. He brings his experience in operations to Kriss Law and Atlantic Closing & Escrow, LLC in the development of new technologies and services while emphasizing customer care and satisfaction. Attorney Krone also directs the Kriss Law and Atlantic Closing & Escrow, LLC's educational services for Realtors‚ Lenders‚ Buyers and Sellers.
Chris Morton, Esq., Managing Attorney
Attorney Morton has been with the Kriss Law and Atlantic Closing & Escrow, LLC since May of 2005. Born and raised in Westbrook‚ Maine, he is a 1994 graduate of the New England School of Law. Attorney Morton is senior title counsel at Kriss Law and Atlantic Closing & Escrow, LLC, and specializes in the representation of mortgage lenders‚ buyers and sellers in real estate acquisitions and financing.
Seth G. Levine, Operations Manager - Mid Atlantic
Mr. Levine completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, College Park, graduating in 1999. He was then involved with several Internet start-ups before joining Custom Title & Escrow in 2003 as Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer. Based in Bethesda, MD, Mr. Levine helped Custom Title grow from four to forty-five employees, conducting business in 27 states. In 2009 along with Jacob Gregori, Mr. Levine opened Great Oak Title & Escrow based in Chevy Chase, MD servicing clients in MD, DC and VA. Mr. Levine is a licensed Maryland Title Producer as well as a licensed Realtor.

David Cuttler‚ Esq.
Originally from Montreal‚ Canada‚ Attorney Cuttler received his degree in Social Sciences from Marianopolis College in 1996 then went on to obtain a BA in Psychology from Concordia University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2000. Attorney Cuttler continued his studies at New England School of Law in Boston, focusing in the area of Real Estate Law. He graduated with Dean's List honors in 2005 and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar that same year. He served as counsel with Barbera & Shargel LLP in their Real Estate department prior to merging with Kriss Law and Atlantic Closing & Escrow, LLC in 2008. Attorney Cuttler serves as a senior attorney specializing in buyer and seller representation and real estate closings.
Scott M. Taylor‚ Esq.
Raised in Newton‚ Massachusetts‚ Attorney Taylor joined Kriss Law and Atlantic Closing & Escrow, LLC in 2008. Attorney Taylor graduated with honors from Lehigh University in 2002 and Suffolk University Law School in 2006. Attorney Taylor focuses on general real estate and land title matters‚ including representing buyers and sellers in purchase and sale negotiations‚ as well as representing lenders in residential real estate closings.
Melissa McCormack‚ Esq.
Attorney McCormack was raised in Needham and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston College and with Dean's List Honors from Suffolk University Law School. She has practiced extensively in real estate law and has overseen all aspects of real estate transactions. Attorney McCormack joins her colleagues at Kriss Law and Atlantic Closing & Escrow, LLC in representing buyers‚ sellers and lenders in real estate purchase‚ sale and mortgage transactions.
David R. Sirois, Esq., Sr. Connecticut Counsel
A Connecticut native, Attorney Sirois received his BA in English, Magna Cum Laude, from St. Bonaventure University in Olean, New York. He obtained his JD degree from Syracuse University College of Law, Cum Laude. While at Syracuse, Attorney Sirois was employed in the Onondaga County Special Prosecutor's Office. Since returning to Connecticut, Attorney Sirois has been in private practice in the New Haven area. His practice has focused on the representation of Buyers, Sellers and Lenders in residential and commercial real estate transactions. He has served on the boards of numerous local charities.
Margaret Gunkel, Esq.
Attorney Gunkel focuses on residential real estate matters. Originally from Savannah, Georgia, Attorney Gunkel graduated with honors from Middlebury College in 2005 and from Charleston School of Law in 2009. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Georgia, and South Carolina. Prior to joining Kriss Law, Attorney Gunkel practiced bankruptcy law.
Jacob "Jack" M. Gregori, Esq., Regional Counsel
Attorney Gregori has a BS in Business Administration from the University of Maryland Smith School of Business, and earned a JD from Boston University School of Law in 2002. After being admitted to the Maryland Bar, Mr. Gregori founded and managed a successful title company in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and has been practicing real estate law continuously since that time. Mr. Gregori specializes in real estate matters pertaining to Maryland, DC, and Virginia but also holds licenses and has conducted business in a number of other states.
Michael Gorman, Esq., Of Counsel, Estate Planning
Attorney Gorman is Special Counsel to Kriss Law and provides all aspects of estate planning for Kriss Law clients. Attorney Gorman is an expert in the preparation of estate plans, elder law planning and transfers, Medicaid/Mass Health applications, wills, trusts, powers of attorney and health care proxies. Attorney Gorman received his B.A. at Assumption College in Worcester and his J.D. from Western New England College, School of Law. Attorney Gorman is currently a candidate for his Masters in Law in the area of Elder Law and Estate Tax Planning at Western New England College, School of Law.
